My vision…

My vision is to create art that feels alive, honest, and deeply connected to community, work that reflects the cultural richness of the South Side of Chicago and the legacy of Bronzeville while pushing creative boundaries through bold color, emotion, and experimentation. As a self-taught, multi-medium artist, I aim to continuously evolve, using everything from acrylic paint and oil pastels to woodburning, and clay to tell layered, meaningful stories rooted in Black American culture and lived experience…..
